I have about 11k on my bike & I have been wondering if I should check my valve clearances.
Have any of you needed to adust your clearances with this amount of miles? It looks like it's a pain in the ass compared to my old B12.

with 11k on it your fine.. the 1st check in the book isnt till 15k but ive done a bunch with between 15 and 40k and all but 1 were fine and needed no shim changes.
its really not that bad to do, just make a chart of your cyl and right down the clearance you get for each valve. then if you need to adjust any. remove the cams and buckets ( DO NOT MIX THEM UP!!) and see what shim is currently in that spot. then you take the clearance you have and the shim you have and look across the chart in the book to see what size shim you need to get you into spec. then replace needed shim (s) reinstall cams and recheck your clearances.. then good to go if all are in spec. if not.. repeat procedure till all are
