These world first pictures show the most powerful and advanced ZX-10R yet.

The 2011 bike is all-new, with power boosted to an estimated 185bhp, weight down 10kg to 198kg, and one of the most advanced traction control and ride-by-wire engine management systems in the superbike class.

The bike reflects more than three years of work for Kawasaki, which drafted in MotoGP engineers to help with the design.
Kawasaki's new traction control system is called S-KTRC (Sport-Kawasaki Traction Control) and is a far more sophisticated version of the widely-praised system fitted to the GTR1400 tourer.

The full story about the latest and most advanced sportsbike ever to come out of Japan is covered in full detail in next week’s MCN on sale on October 6.

i cant stand the cheesy tach. Never been a fan of the bar factor. Otherwise i like it, they have made lots of improvements!! Hopefully it performs well.

imagine that, a japanese 1 litre over 200 claimed rear hp. when the BMW came out people were all in arms about it being so powerful and I stated the other manufacturers could easily get the mark, and it looks like 1 did so far. Remember the Main part of kawasaki is Kawasaki Heavy Industries (KHI) which is an engine manufacturer. kawasaki helicopters out there, kawasaki ocean liner engines, kawi watercraft, Kawi generators. Without another outlet, ALL if the motorcycle manufacturers would be dead.

The BMW was always going to lead to the japs upping their game. I look forward to reading some ride reviews of the Kwaka and seeing what the others have in store.

BTW I was recently listening to an interview with Mark Miller on MotoGPod podcast. Episode 245: A Calming Influence ... | MotoGPod
He rode the BMW in the Bol d'Or endurance race and said that the BMW has wild cams etc and they keep everything rideable with electronics. The result being that on the race bike they have to run the stock ecu and cant change out a lot of stuff because it'll screw up the electronics.

Looks like a yamaha... But I like it. The digital tach is cool as hell I think. Always liked it back when Honda put it in the S2000... Though seems like most people don't :rock

The feminist agenda is not about equal rights for women. It is about a socialist, anti-family political movement that encourages women to leave their husbands, kill their children, practice witchcraft, destroy capitalism and become lesbians. - Pat Robertson

unfortunately i've been reading that the US version will have a redline about 750rpm less because of EPA noise restrictions which are now tested across the RPM range. The EPA is now more restrictive than Euro3 emissions. Im sure a tune will take care of that, but stinks none the less

Like it, should be a hot seller this Spring.
They neutered the 08+ CBR1000RR a bit also, due to a similar noise restriction. The bazazz z-bomb solved that issue, but then it was only like 6hp, but gave some nice revs at the top..
I'm sure people are already working on a fix to bring back the un-neutered hp.
