This is why I was asking. HRC has this part but it is much more than what you are selling.

HRC Throttle KitItem Id(28484)

Description: HRC quick action throttle kit to fit the CBR1000RR (04-07) & CBR600RR (07-08).

Included in kit:

1 x throttle housing tube
1 x throttle housing, top
1 x throttle housing, bottom
1 x throttle cable, front
1 x throttle cable, rear
2 x screws

This kit uses a 1/6 turn quick action to help you get on the power faster and prevent fatigue.

Direct replacements for the original throttle parts.

It also appears to have a lot more crap involved.

^Yeah, that's going to replace your whole assembly where your starter switch is etc. I don't know if it will keep or eliminate certain features. Probably going to be a smaller assembly all together. You will also have to replace your actual throttle cables with the ones provided. A little more detailed modification. "Active" also makes a throttle kit, but it's very pricey also.

Yeah that's a little high for sure, like james said the aftermarket co's charge a whole lot for it. I wonder how we could find out if it'll fit an 08 cbr 1k?????

By trial and error. It's an 8 dollar part, and takes about 5-10 mins. So couldn't hurt to give it a shot. :+1

I have the service manual for the bike. I will take a look in that for some more information. It is going to take a little while though. That pdf is huge.

Here is the link for the manual:
http://www.1000rr.us...br1000rr_sm.pdf

Right click, save as.

That should work, I hope.
