When you install a full exhaust on the 07-08 GSXR 1000 and you pull the exup/set cables and all that crap out you'll have your ecu throw a code. You need to follow the directions that are found in the below .pdf to disable it. These directions are from yoshimura and you pull a wire out of your ecu harness and full directions can be found here at this link.

yes, this info catches most people who do a full exhaust. With this you can disable that damn light. for instance the akrapovic instructions don't cover this part. You still should do it though if you want that light gone.
