Hi all, I'm 41 years old and have been riding sport bikes off and on since 1985. My first sport bike was a 900 ninja, followed by a 1986 gsxr 1100. Lots of bikes through the years and only a few get offs so I've been doing ok playing the speed game..... My current bike is a blue and white k7.

Anyways, I'll be around often.

Welcome Logan, glad you found the site and hope to see you here often! I have been riding about the same time frame a well... It's amazing on the steps sport bikes have taken since the late 80's.

Yes sir, you sent me the link earlier today.

The bikes sure have changed over the years. I remember thinking I was the bomb on my 85 900 ninja, and at the time wondered why all the older riders I rode with just smiled when I told them how fast I was.... I'm by no means fast now, but age and riding some of the best little known roads in Arkansas for years allows me to smile myself at what the younger me said. I guess the older I get the smoother I wish to become, and it's no longer how fast I can go down the straights but how smooth and consistent I can take my favorite roads.

Everything has improved as well, from sloppy air anti dive suspensions and bias ply tires, to what we are blessed with today. I ride a wide glide Harley when I go two up, and it with the frame flexing reminds me of the old days.
