Honda built in the 90's that sold for some ridiculous price? It was red and black, V4, looked real badass. I can't remember what it was called, but they were selling limited quantities for like 50k or something.............help, I want to see a pic of that bike. I remember it being on the cover of Cycle World when I was a teenager.

You might be on to something! NSR rings a bell. I just searched Honda's history and no result. NSR sounds right though.

I'm almost positive this was a 750.........Red and Black with quad undertail exhaust. It was like nothing ever seen before in 1992..........you know what I mean. THIS IS DRIVING ME NUTS.

Damn, I've not thought about that bike in years!
It only came in red, very few of them were built, and yes they sold for around 50K, but you had to be a king or queen to buy it. It was a V4 750 too.. NR 750. https://flic.kr/p/44548380 The first of the Oval Piston designs, not sure if that was a success for them or not..

There was also the RC45 of 1994, RVF750, only 50 of them came into the US, a bud from GDC (I'm getting him to come over here) actually owned one, also a V4 750 and stickered for $27,000.

Right on Kev........good job. That's it. Now I'd like to see some additional pics. Should be a little easier to find now.

Really nice bike for the erra but whats up with the bridge type bodywork going over the clipons?
hmmm, don't know, maybe ram air?
That was a funky looking beast of a bike. I road a 1990 RC-30 once (for a entire day), that was the sweetest bike to me, but looks dated when I look at it now..

.... I was about to come in here and tell you I figured it out, I've got a diecast model of that bike sitting on my bookshelf along with all the others.
I could have just picked it up and told you last night... but I'm a moron and forgot I had it.
