Bike throwing an FI code? Here's how to put it in dealer mode to find that code

1- remove seat
2- locate the dealer terminal (white 6 prong box with black dust cap) This will be located next to or behind the fuse box (under the subframe support truss)

3- remove dust cap and expose the terminal contacts

4- locate the black wire with the thin white stripe and white wire with the thin red stripe

5- with the ignition and kill switch in the "off" position take a paper clip, speaker wire or other insulated wire and insert it into the contacts for the above mentioned wires

6- with the bike in neutral, turn ignition to the "on" position. Now turn the kill switch to "on" position (your lights should be on and your fuel pump should prime at this point). You are now in dealer mode and a code will appear where your temperature reading is located. If you get a C00 code (as show in the pic) there is no error

7- if you get anything else here is a list of the errors

C27 - IGNITION SIGNAL #4
C28 - SECONDARY THROTTLE VALVE ACTUATOR
C29 - SECONDARY THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR
C30 - SECONDARY THROTTLE CONTROL UNIT
C31 - GEAR POSITION SENSOR
C32 - INJCTOR SIGNAL #1
C33 - INJECTOR SIGNAL #2
C34 - INJECTOR SIGNAL #3
C35 - INJECTOR SIGNAL #4
C41 - FUEL PUMP CONTROL SYSTEM
C42 - INGNITIO SWITCH SIGNAL
C46 - EXHAUST CONTROL VALVE ACTUATOR (1000 ONLY)

for the sake of an argument, the sound your bike makes when you turn the ignition and kill switch on is not your fuel pump. it is your secondary throttle butterflies actuating.

debate that.

Deb, it's not that your bike has the inability to do anything correctly. What's wrong is your TPS needs adjustment.

Is it possible to automate / modulate the position of items in free item position mode?

Also things like stretching the item and so forth
