Who can figure it out? I know the answer....
Okay you're in a room with three switches, all in the Off position. In the room next to you is a regular 100w light bulb wired to one of them. You can't see into that room at all. The object is to find out with 100% certainty which switch activates the light. You can switch as many on/off as you want, but you can only leave to go check the bulb once. How is this possible? You can't put holes in walls or any of that.
