all servers start out cheap. then when you are finished building then thall are at least 5000
lol yeah I got a bit confused when I was looking at the options
we just got erin a vostro laptop. For 700 it's a hell of a deal with 2gig ram, dual 1.6ghz processors, etc...
yup, not bad for a laptop. It's in the small business section of their website and they didn't even make us give them a business license or anything. So i don't know how they vouch for the fact we are a business. We are, but they didn't require any paperwork to prove it for some reason.

Good deal, I've had this laptop for 3 years, not one problem, friends and fam and University all have Dells too, love em.
I like dells, but i HATE their customer service. They would be a perfect company if they wouldn't outsource that crap to india. I had a problem with one of our three laptops and i nearly gave up on dell all together. That is their largest and only mistake from what I can tell.

Yeah... I get pretty angry when I call someone for customer service and can't understand wtf they are talking about. Just happened with Microsoft when I was calling about my Xbox. And I had a dell previously.... I wanted to hang up on them every time.
well i learned the hard way with my honeymoon. when they pull that shit on you, you call their hq or media relations. I did that with travelocity. I called their public relations 8 times demanding their ceo or some higher up's phone number or i wouldn't stop calling. I actually had the female ceo call me back personally and correct EVERYTHING within 5 min! Many companies are jacking up with overseas customer service. It was the day before we were to fly out on our honeymoon and the hotel and flights didn't have our reservations and i was on the phone with india for 5 HOURS before i lost it and decided to go on a mission to reach the ceo, president, or a higher up and have shit FIXED!
I've had to speak with CS a few times over the years, ram upgrades, a new keyboard (due to a coffee spill, $17.00). In the beginning the Indian CS was a little rough, I think they've ironed out quite a bit of the mis-com problems. Worst case scenario, you ask repeatedly to talk to someone here in the States... They sell Dell's at Staples now, so you can go check 'em out. Mine is 3 years old, and very used 9300 Inspiron, 2 gigs ram, and a slow-ass processor, haha 1.6 gigs! It also has a huge 17" screen, so I'll be going for a 14" screen or less for my next Dell..
