Alright, so I'll be the first to ask for some advice.

I bought my GPR, (from motomummy even though that's irrelevant
)

I've had it for a while, but it seems to be coming loose quite often.

Where it is attatched ( by the stem nut) has a very low torque value. The GPR is actually moving/coming loose when it is turned up anywhere near mid or high pressure. Any suggestions other than torquing the hell out of the stem nut that is only supposed to be like 9ft lbs or something like that?

I'm getting irritated with it coming loose all the time

Mine was the old...with 8 adjustments...the V4 has like 20+ , I don't think I used thread locker on mine. I have, well had for the moment, a Scott's on my bike and it hasen't come loose and I know I didn't use it on the Scott's mount

I just saw Corey's post, mine isn't a v4, yeah I guess I'll just locktight the hell out of it,
I just didn't see the need for thread locker on that nut seeing as it doesn't call for it. But if it's my only solution I guess that's what I'll do.

I had a damper on my bike where the middle bolt actually came loose on me, locking the steering, needles to say I lock tighted the S**t out of it.
yeah, that's my fear is that the thing is just going to fall off, it gets so loose it moves with the bars then I have to take it off and re tighten everything

call gpr and ask them about it. I doubt you'll get a free damper, but they might know an easy fix or it might be a known issue they have a replacement part for or something. Can't hurt to call them and ask about it. They had two models of the old version. A 6 adjustment position one, and an 8. Then the new gpr4 has 20 adustments. The 6 and 8 adjustments ones are the same other then the number of adjustments, but this way you'll know which model you have when you call them.
