Forgive me for being dumb........but why are the sizes 3.75" F and 5.75 R instead of 3.5" F and 5.5" R ???

Most of the BST front wheels are 3.5. We have a few race wheels that are 3.75. They are trying to getting some more corner speed with the wider front.
