What other groups are you looking to run with? I too would like to try out some other clubs. Currently looking into NYSB.ronaldo9 said:Most of my friends go with Team Promotions but I think I will try different groups this year to go to different tracks. I'm trying to make VIR or Summit Point in March with TPM.
I tried them once, years ago, I'd run with them again as well.. Which ever one has the least amount of people on the track would be king!cfrass66 said:What other groups are you looking to run with? I too would like to try out some other clubs. Currently looking into NYSB.
yeah well thats looking more and more like other teams beside TPM. They've really updated there website this year, so you know they are making money ='ing they have more people coming.Kelevra said:I tried them once, years ago, I'd run with them again as well.. :biggrin I have an '01 CBR 929 with a ton of mods that did double-duty track and street. It's for street only now, as last July I got a k7 gsxr 600 for track-only.Kelevra said:Swaeet, another track chic!
Which Honda do you ride? Post pix if you like..
I met some riders from the Bronx that ride with Sportbike Track Time so I might try them out but they don't have too many dates local. Also, I've heard great things about NESBA, and Absolute Cycles are right in NJ.cfrass66 said:What other groups are you looking to run with? I too would like to try out some other clubs. The far right pic, bike # 26, was taken at the Kevin Schwantz Suzuki School last year. What a blast!!
Wow...! I got pwned by a chic at the last TPM event, but she's a national champ so I didn't feel too bad, lollz.HondaGalToo said:Bummer! I liked the 929 in yellow/black, but the '00 yellow/black. Yup, been doing trackdays since '95. I'm addicted! And I wonder why I never have any money! :biggrin
My favorite club is no longer around...I rode with Reduc Sportbike Association. They got bought out a few years ago by STT. I've ridden numerous times with STT, but gave NESBA a try last year. I like them better. I haven't ridden with TPM. They all do things a bit differently. The best thing to do is try them all out and see which one offers what you want. They've all got their pros and cons. NESBA has stricter rules, I like that, others may not.Kelevra said:Wow...! Since you've been riding track longer then I, which club do you like best, and why..?![]()
