I am from Huntington, but I'm out in AZ now. I miss it there though... certainly don't miss the cold weather though.

Yeah well at least what you have over there you can actually call food, over here.. that term is used way to widely. You wouldn't believe some of the crap they try to pass for "NY" pizza and "italian"jofro6 said:yeah plastic cup i would def prefer the AZ weather to what we got here right now, it blows... Thanks everyone for the welcomes
Queens has some of the finest Asian food I've ever eaten, I go there once a week to Main Street, Flushing. My friends have shown me all the great places for Chinese and Korean. I was born in Flushing too (Booth memorial, but i'm not Asian ;-)). I love getting back there, I don't go there for Pizza though, hahahaha. So many fantastic places in Brooklyn to get Pizza. Here on Long Island there are a handful of great Pizza places!THE SRADIATOR said:P.C.P...You have been away for TOO long!
NY style pizza has now evolved into what i call "bowling alley pizza"
It's like the cardboard you get in a new shirt with a little sauce and ALOT of cheese on it!
I'm in queens and there are several pizzarias still around and they all SUCK!
+1 J-Ho. Flushing has some great chinese.......food too. More authentic style as compared to Funny Dum Goy Palace that only serves fried chicken and eggrolls. As far as pizza goes I only look for brick oven places.Kelevra said:Queens has some of the finest Asian food I've ever eaten, I go there once a week to Main Street, Flushing. To the OP, we run a fun Sunday ride come Spring time, be sure to look for updates as the weather warms. Also track days as well, if you're ever interested.
