Kelevra requested some pics of the Motard so I figured I'd post them here. '07 KTM 690SM. Got the bike in the fall put a little over 600 miles on it before old man winter ruined my fun in NY. I switched to this from an '04 GSXR 600. So far I love the Motard. Comfortable for around town riding. Plenty of torque and power to get up and go. Quick and nimble in the twisties. It's a great all around bike and definitely has a great fun factor. The stock brembo's and sbb's all around definitely give it awesome stopping power. Suspension is WP front and rear. Hopefully come springtime I'll be able to shed some pounds and put an exhaust system on there.

Is that a 690 Single? Holy crap I bet thats a fun ride!! I cant imagine what the torque is like on that monster.

Yeah it's a single. The biggest single on the market I believe. Dyno pulls of the bike give it 63 HP and 48 torque. Bike weighs approx. 320 lbs.

I rode a buddy of mines 06 450 ( i believe ), personally didn't like it. sit to high ( like straight up ), didn't really feel like it had any power. reminds me to much like dirt. but, not to knock you it's nice, just not for me. i don't think there all cracked up to be......

I saw some numbers (at Daves shop in Smithtown), they were a little scary for me, some of them cost more then my 750 did. But yea, I'd love one too!!

Thanks for all the props on the bike. It's definitely different and that's one of the reasons I like it. And Jordan wait until next fall and buy it just before the season ends. Like anything else I got a great deal on mine doing it that way. Have to make room for the next years models.
