Ok so i bought a Stainless Steel Ti force High Mount Single canister Full exhaust system for my K7 GSXR 1000 off eBay. I got the exhaust for $650 shipped. But Turns out that the seller did not mention the fact that the exhaust had a curl end as oppose to the cone end that i was expecting.
I talked to the seller and he is more than willing to refund my money and the cost of shipping it back to him.

My dilemma:

Should i return the a Full system exhaust because i wanted a cone end exhaust.
OR

Keep the exhaust and be happy that a got a good deal on a Full system.

I say return it. It is not what you wanted, so why keep it.

depends on what you like the looks of and how much it's worth to you.

If I return this exhaust i will probably have to go for a M4 slip-on cause money is tight. 1 of the thinks i really want is a nice deep sounding exhaust.

Damn it i am so freakin confused.........
Your probably only going to put one exhaust system on the bike the entire time you own it. I'd get what you want.

Oh sure, then you add that while I'm typing. I'd keep the Ti Force over the M4

I don't mean to confuse you more, but here is my reason why I would return it.

It is not something you wanted, why on earth settle for second best. Get what you really like and want, even if it means getting a bit later.

what was listed in the auction? did it say which tip it had? if it didn't, its your mistake that you didn't ask...

if the seller is willing to take it back and you don't think you'll be happy, then send it back, get a new one, otherwise you'll be bitching that you didn't get the right one lol
Why settle for something you did not want just because....life is short...get what you want and be happy. Can get a good slip on for the same price with a few buck left over:biggrin
In all honesty the k7/k8 header is VERY good. Some good slipons like the akra/m4, etc get nearly as much hp as a full system. Only a few hp under if that. The k7/k8 header is probably the best I have seen or heard of in any sportbike. The slipons for the k7/k8 WAY WAY outsell the full systems for this reason. The oem header is titanium, but mostly because of it's design being so damn good. Suzuki did a hell of a job with it.
a example of a slip on with custom map...baseline run was a few months prior so there could be a few less peak made

midrange with out cat was a marked improvement

Good point.....although if it was me, I would want what I want and prob return it
Return it....$650 for something you don't really want...pffffft, not me.

I could see if you order a burger w/o pickles and got pickles and just took them off but, your talking about a big deal like the all over look of you bike.

send it back......Getcho shit:popcorn

I think it looks sweet but definitely return it if you don't like it and don't try to force yourself to like it.
