I've not done any track days with the Stomps, just commuting and playing around, and they have scuffed my leathers up a bit. I guess that's the price you pay for good "stiction".
Our word for the day defined:
Two solid objects pressing against each other (but not sliding) will require some threshold of force parallel to the surface of contact in order to overcome static cohesion. Stiction is a threshold, not a continuous force.
yes the stomps will scuff things up a bit. The tech specs will not, but the grip isn't as good either and they are damn thick compared to stomps...All depends on what you want I guess. I like the stomps the best personally.
